The Devils Plan

I know the devils plan.

The devil has been working up to this moment for a very long time.

You see the devil has a lot of time to think and he is constantly retracing his steps to see where he went wrong and how he can overcome God next time.  This is the pride of the demon to keep trying, thinking eventually he will win.  He won't. I've read the end of the book, we win.

The Last Judgement

But don't be complacent.  When Christ comes again and it is the end of mercy, and His perfect judgement begins there will be many screams and horror as the damned realize they have no time left.  They were given EVERY opportunity to repent and for all eternity they shall suffer torment.  Yes, there is victory, but there will be horror for many.  

When Christ comes many will pray and beg for death.  They will beg for death on the realization that they are eternal, that they were always in eternity and their evil thoughts and deeds where always seen by God.  They will wail and cry because the time of mercy is finished and they have wasted thousands of chances God gave them in their life to repent.  This will be a horror I cannot even begin to describe although I have seen it.  It will only be by God's grace that those that have stood on the side of the Christ will be able to stand and see the damnation of so many souls.  

Last Judgement

By their own hand they are condemned as the books of their lives are opened and they have written every evil thought and deed as they chose to 'do as thou will'.  Know that by your own words you are condemned. 

"By your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned", Matthew 12:37

They cried out to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,because the great day of their wrath has come and who can withstand it? Revelation 6:16

But I will tell you the truth.  Now, right now is the time the devil has planned for.  Right now is when it seems to all be coming together for him.  

You see the devil knows that what constrains him is the Catholic Church.  The Holy Mass, the sacraments and the prayers of the faithful restrain him in many ways and he has no defense against this.  He has sent many evil Antichrists before that have killed millions (Napoleon, Mao Zedong, Stalin, Hitler) but they didn't wage the full horror the devil would have loved seen come to the world.  Let's face it, each of his Antichrists where contained to an area or the world and could not go full global with their horror.

Not so with the Antichrist to come.

You see the devils plan this time is to decimate the church before the next Antichrist comes on the scene.  In this way the next Antichrist will not be contained and wreak havoc all over the globe. 

Let me give you some data to back up my claim: 

This is his plan.  Decimate those that can do him the most damage (The Catholic Church) which he has no defense against.  The devil cannot come against the Holy Mass or the Sacraments, he can only lessen the number of Masses being said and the number of sacraments being administered.  In this way he hopes to get the world to such an atheistic state that the scene will be ripe for his next Antichrist.  

This is where he is wrong.  Yes, faith is under attack and many are falling away from the true battlefield which is the Holy Mass, but even if there is only one Holy Mass celebrated on the earth, that one Holy Mass changes the whole earth.  

Deeds of the Antichrist

Yes my friends the next Antichrist is coming and he will be worse than anything ever seen on the earth.  The Holy Catholic Church will be forced into exile and persecuted as it was in the beginning.  But the Holy Priests and faithful, the true remnant, will keep the Holy Mass alive on the earth and the gates of Hell will NOT prevail against it.  

“He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High..", Daniel 7:25 

As in the time of the holocaust there will be many that we think of as friends that will abandon us when the greatest time of persecution comes.  The Holy Mother Church will be very much alone in her struggle to keep the devil at bay.  Many of our protestant brethren will relish in our diminishment and do so even now.  They will join any evil force that attempts to bring down Holy Mother Church because she is a constant reminder of their true origins and they will be fooled that to do her harm is to do a good to the world.  

Get ready kids, this is coming. 

 The prayers of the religious have restrained the evil one for so many centuries, but now as the religious orders are dwindling, and as those religious that are left are falling way to the ways of the world, the demon is about to be fully loosed upon the world.  

The remedy is simple.  We, the laity must step up and take the place of our fallen religious.  

The Holy Mass is both heaven and BATTLEFIELD.  The Holy Mass is where those who are in a state of grace plead to the throne of God for the other.  

We have an opportunity at every Holy Mass to go to the Throne of God and plead for mercy for those that will face the last judgement even if we do not see it ourselves.  

The demon is a snake, so stay close to your Mother. Pray the Holy Rosary. 

My Mom isn't afraid of snakes. 

So go to Holy Mass, stay close to the Sacraments and the Church, pray in front of the Holy Eucharist and pray the Rosary.

If you are a fallen away Catholic, come home.  You are most welcome on the battlefield.  All it takes is confession

Trust me, when these times befall us, you do not want to be with the masses.  We will be the underdog and the only place of safety.  Come home.

The time is shorter than you know.

Using Your Angelic Legion Effectively

Q.  "Are there Legions of Angels?" 

Yes, there are Legions of Angels.  Jesus spoke of twelve Legions of Angels that were available to Him.

And behold, one of those who accompanied Jesus put his hand to his sword, drew it, and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his ear.  Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its sheath, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.  Do you think that I cannot call upon my Father and he will not provide me at this moment with more than twelve legions of angels? (Matthew 26:52-53)

But never forget, the Demon has also Legions also.   Remember when Jesus went to exorcise the man of the demon that dwelt among the tombs that could not be contained with a chain?  

"Catching sight of Jesus from a distance, he ran up and prostrated himself before him,
crying out in a loud voice, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, do not torment me!”  (He had been saying to him, “Unclean spirit, come out of the man!”) He asked him, “What is your name?” He replied, “Legion is my name. There are many of us.”   (Mark 5: 6-10)

So we know Legions of Angels exist, both on the side of God and on the side of the devil.  

Q.  "How many are in a Legion?"  

We are not given the number directly by God, but perhaps if we look at Roman Legions at the time, we can guess by an indirect way.  

During the time of Jesus a Roman Legion was approximately 5000 soldiers.   This would definitely qualify as "many".  Jesus could command 12 Legions which is 5000x12=60,000. angels.  

Q.  "Who get's access to a Legion?"  

Jesus was Priest, Prophet and King, and He definitely had access to the Legions of Angels, but Jesus also prayed and interceded  for his disciples.   Jesus prayed a lot for others before His Passion.  He gave us the Our Father prayer, He prayed for His disciples when they were weak, He went off alone to pray and He spent all night in prayer.    So those that act in this life as a Priest, Prophet, King, or Intercessory Prayer Warrior are those that have immediate access to a Legion of Angels.    So all Catholic Priests have access to an Angelic Legion that they can call in times of danger.   Also those that lead or rule over nations have access to aLegion.  In addition, those that pray and intercede to the Father for others through the blood and Passion of Jesus also have access to an Angelic Legion.   

Q.  "Don't those that serve the poor and the Church get a Legion?" 

We can ask God for any good thing for us, but usually those that serve out of love of their heart, their Guardian Angel is sufficient protection.  

Q. Why do Priests, Intercessors (Prayer Warriors) and Rulers need a Legion?

Priests are greatly hated by the devil because of the celebration of the Holy Mass.   Also when a Priest has his hands anointed at the time of his ordination, the Honor of God is placed on His hands and as a result, when the Priest celebrates or administers the Sacraments, no matter the state of the soul of the Priest, God will always honor the work done through the Hands of the Priest.  If a Priest obeys the Church and with good faith performs the Sacraments, they can not be invalidated.   So the devil in no way can invalidate the Sacraments, he can only try to persuade souls to stay away from them. 

Prayer warriors, snatch souls directly from the devil's hands, and even plead to God before the souls judgement at the Holy Mass and take away the accusers power to seek a soul for all eternity into hell.   If a prayer warrior is in a state of grace, and participates in the Holy Mass, and when the heavens are opened at the word of the Priest, then the warrior pleads to God in Heaven for souls not to be lost. By seeking the conversion of the blackest hearts, the devil is completely impotent and can do nothing.   

Rulers of Nations also have great enemies and if they are friends with God can seek an Angelic Legion to protect them in times of danger.

Q.  " How do we use our Legion?"   

1)  Your Guardian Angel is in charge of your Legion.   You should always respect the place of your Guardian Angel as the primary Angel chosen by God to protect, lead and guide you to heaven.  So any placement of your Legion or sending out an angel from your Legion, must be done through your Guardian Angel.  

2)  You can ask your Guardian Angel to place your Legion around you in times of danger, or when you are vulnerable, like at night when you sleep.   

3) You can send out an Angel from your Legion to one who is in danger, or whom you wish to provide extra protection.  Padre Pio did this often.  However, I have to warn you, if you send out an Angel from your Legion, do not FORGET TO RETRIEVE HIM.  God will honor your word and if you do not retrieve your Legion Angel, that angel will be with that soul for all eternity.  

Q. "When are times when I need to use my Legion?" 

1) If you are praying for the souls in Purgatory in a cemetery, (day or night) before you get out of your vehicle, ask your Guardian Angel to place the Legion around you.    It is no coincidence that ghost hunters go to cemeteries and get results.  These are not heavenly angels they are encountering, but demonic ones.

Also we have to be aware that souls that die in mortal sin are condemned souls and can also seek us harm.  Use your Legion.   

We are not to fear, we are to strive forward, fighting the good fight, even though we are given knowledge of the danger is around is.  God WILL DEFEND US!  Never doubt it.  

2)  When you are vulnerable, or feel uneasy.  If you are sleeping, before you go to sleep ask that your Guardian Angel place the Legion around you.    Sometimes I take a catnap in my car, I definitely use my Legion at this time.  

3) Priests should use their Legion anytime they are not on holy ground going out to administer sacraments to the sick, etc.

The angels are a wonderful creation of God, don't be afraid to use this gift for your protection and the good of others.  Angels are the most underused gift that God has given us.  

The Devil's Heartbeat

One day a new demon was asking questions of his demonic mentor, the elder demon assigned to show him the ropes so to speak. 

"Why does the illustrious evil one hate humans so?" asked the new demon.

"You don't know?"  

"No, I don't.  It doesn't make much sense to keep offending the Almighty, we are already condemned for all eternity, and we know that the Almighty, no matter what our sentence, can and will increase our suffering in proportion to the damage we try to inflict on those He loves..the humans I mean."

"Yes, I know what you mean." The elder demon looked uncomfortable at the turn of the conversation, but knew if he wanted the junior demon to survive the illustrious evil one's wrath, he had better tell him.  "The reason the supreme evil one hates humanity so is because of what beats in their chest, their heartbeats. "

"What? I don't understand."

"Well you see, God is eternal, He always was, and always will be.  And before the *Blessed Trinity *", he said with a curse under his breath, for no demon can deny the reality of God,  "...took on the flesh as the Lamb, God conceived in His heart, the heartbeat of Man and the heartbeat of His Son.   So before man's flesh was formed the heartbeat of man began to beat, but only in God's heart. " 

"We the angels before the throne of God where allowed to hear the future heartbeat of man that God loves so much, for it wasn't of flesh, for man was not yet made, but of love alone that the heart beat.  So throughout heaven the heartbeat of man, formed from the love of God alone beat in heaven.   It made a very distinctive sound, you can hear it now."

"So that is what that is?" Thats the 'thump thump' I hear constantly in the background?" 

"Grrrr.....YES!  That is the heart of man beating on the Earth!  The heart of the fleshy one's that the Eternal One loves so much that He, can you imagine, HE, the Holy One, the One that formed every star in heaven, even HE lowered Himself and took on this atrocious flesh and heartbeat."

"But why would this bother the illustrious evil one?  The fleshy one's will die and many will come to our kingdom." 

"You don't get it do you.  WE DON'T HAVE HEARTBEATS!!  Because we were once before the throne of God and had all knowledge of what God Is and His Holiness, we, who are eternal, are eternally damned.  WE CAN NEVER REPENT TO THE ETERNAL ONE AND GO BACK...not ever.  Every time the illustrious evil one hears one of those heartbeats he is constantly reminded of what he can NEVER have, but what the fleshy ones always can, while they are in the flesh that is.  They can repent and return to the Holy One, but every one of their heartbeats is like being thrown out of heaven all over again.  

"Oh I think I am beginning to see.  This makes sense now, so the illustrious evil one will do anything to stop that heartbeat on the earth, and ideally, make it stop when the soul is in such sin that he or she will come directly to our kingdom, correct?"  

"Yes."

"Um....hmm.  So that is why the illustrious evil one tries to tell people how good it is to commit suicide?"  

"Yes, but there is more too it than just wanting the heartbeat to stop."

"Well, you see, if the illustrious evil one can get those that are terminally ill to commit suicide, take the 'easy' way out, then they will totally miss the purification of suffering and by breaking the Holy Ones' commandment that says, 'Thou shalt not kill.' , it is very likely that he or she will end up with us.  Not 100% guaranteed, but the odds are in our favor so to speak.  

"Why isn't it 100%?  The Holy One is perfectly just right? Why wouldn't we get them." 

Frustrated, the senior demon snorted, "It is the warriors that the Holy One has sent upon the earth."  

"Warrior angels?"

"No, the prayer warriors that intercede and plead before the throne of God for those with the blackest of hearts, the ones that should be ours, but these Warriors snatch them from us constantly.  If these warriors love God and love those that God loves then their heart beats for God and for the conversion of sinners, these souls the Holy One protects, we have very little we are allowed to do to them, and even if we are allowed, it just usually makes them more in line with the Holy One, and gets them closer to heaven.....We lose either way."

"This is part of our eternal punishment, to constantly hear and be reminded of what we lost for all time by forever hearing the heartbeat of man.  It will never cease, for even when all is completed as the Holy One deems, we will still the heartbeat of the Son, for all eternity."

The realization was beginning to sink in.  All the demons and the damned in Hell will always hear the beating of the Sacred Heart, and know it cannot and never will beat for them.  Truly the loss of the love of God was and is the greatest suffering in Hell.

"Don't Turn Around."

Another time praying the Stations....

I was at the 6th Station, offering the Station to God, asking the Father that one drop of blood that just one drop of our Lord's precious blood cover what I was praying for.

At this station, I am all the way at the back of the Church, with my back to the Altar.  I hear the Lord say to me, "Don't Turn Around."  

"Uh...Ok."  My eyes widened and I was somewhat afraid.  Then I heard all the banging, and noise behind me, and I felt the demon right at my back, he was about 1 inch from touching my back, and I could feel his presence was very large.(I don't know how I knew this as I didn't turn around, but I did, I understood, he was about 7 feet tall)  He wanted to tear me up.  I was so scared, I trembled, but didn't turn around. I knew the demon couldn't hurt me unless God allowed it.

After about 5 seconds, the noise and everything stopped and there was calm in the church.  I was still under the obedience of His instruction, so I had to ask.  "Lord, may I finish these stations?"  "Yes" was the answer.

Timidly I prayed the Stations until I got to the 10th Station, on this one, I had to turn around.  "Lord, may I turn around?".  "Yes".  The church was empty. 

I finished the rest of the Stations without incident.

We are our brother's keeper.  As Catholics, as the front line in the battle for souls, we have a responsibility for every non Catholic Christian, every pagan, and every sinner on the planet.  They do not have the weapons that we have to purify their souls with Holy Mass,  Holy Confession, the Holy Rosary and the Stations of the Cross.  We must fight for them.  Every soul is worth whatever we must suffer.  No matter how exhausting the petition before the Father, go again, fight again, beg again, cry before the judgement seat again, but NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP on anyone!

As Catholics we must be pure and holy so we can lay down ALL for our brethren.  Do you understand that you can take Holy Communion for one that will never be able to take Holy Communion? Do you understand how powerful that is, and what it means in a souls walk of salvation?  This is why every Catholic should go to Holy Mass daily, pray the Holy Rosary daily and go to regular Confession.

Catholics ARE born for combat!

Fearless (Part 2)

NOTE: To understand this posting, you have to read Fearless (Part 1) which you can read...HERE

Sometime after my first experience as written about in Fearless (Part 1), I was again praying the Stations of the Cross.  I get to the fourth Station, the Station where Jesus meets His Mother and I the Lord reminded me of the day when the pews made all that noise and St. Michael and my Guardian Angel showed up.  

Then He said to me, "I want to show you what was coming after you that day." 

I said, "Uh...OK..."

I was transported to a red desert, like the picture above.  I knew there was nothing living in this place and that I was completely alone.  In the distance I could see thousands of red tinged creatures barreling down on me rather quickly.  Some of these creatures resembled very deformed, horrible looking humans, and some where deformed, demons.  They were terrifying to behold.  They had nothing but hatred in their eyes for me, there was no compassion, they wanted to kill me, and at the rate they were coming at me, they would reach me in a few seconds.   There were thousands of them, and was there with no weapons, no defenses and no where to run.  I was toast.  When they reached me, they were going to shred me like lettuce.  I was dead and I knew it.  I was terrified.

The next second I was back in the Church standing before the forth station.  I was trembling in my arms and my legs because I was so scared.  The Lord had to calm me down.  After a few seconds I had gotten my bearings and the Lord gave me a number of how many were coming after me that day in the Church.

Then He said to me, "If it had been all of Hell after you, I would have let St. Michael take care of it."

My first thought was, "One angel, under God's command could hold back all of Hell.  What are we afraid of? We should be completely and totally fearless!"

Fearless (Part 1)

So much has happened when I was praying the Stations of the Cross.  The demon has tried everything to scare me off.  He can't.  I won't say I haven't been scared, I have, but I have stood my ground.

On this day, I was praying the Stations of the Cross and begging God for those that were lost.  I was alone in the Church.  I had gotten to the 4th Station - where Jesus meets his Mother.  At that moment, from the back of the Church, every pew in the church sounded like there was someone pounding on it with a large sledgehammer.  It started in the back of the Church and every pew in the Church made the big "BANG!!" noise, and it moved from the back of the Church to the front of the Church in a wave, very fast - took maybe three seconds.

I wasn't afraid, like John Vianney said, you get used to it after awhile.  I know that the demon cannot hurt me unless God allows it.  I wasn't afraid, but then suddenly I felt "reinforcements".  I couldn't see them, but I knew that St. Michael was on my left, and my Guardian Angel was on my right - just behind me.  Whether I wished to continue was up to me.  I wasn't afraid, I knew nothing could touch me, no matter how mad my begging God that souls not fall into hell made the demon.

So I said, "OK, Let's go."  I finished the Stations.*

*Oh, and by the way, I checked the pews - there was no damage to them, which considering the noise that was made was astounding.

Part 2:  I am shown what was coming after me that day....

Storm The Gates! (Part 1)

And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church,^*and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  Matthew 16:18.

"...and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.".  What does this mean? How can a gate prevail?  Wouldn't it be demons that would prevail, but that isn't want our Lord said, He said 'gates'.    

A gate is something to keep something in, or to keep something out.  It can also be used as a passageway.  

From the scripture we know there is more than one gate. ('gates' plural).  There are supposedly 12 gates into heaven the same as the number of apostles, the demon loves to mock God, so their must be more than one gate into hell, but how many?  St. Alphonsus Liguori said there were four principal gates to hell: Hatred, Blasphemy, Theft and Impurity.  I'm betting there are more than this, I think there are somewhere between 6 and 666 gates to hell.  Either way, we know there are gates, and there is more than one.  

So how could 'gates' prevail against God's church?  There are two ways a gate can 'prevail'.  
1). A gate could prevail if the gate would hold fast when it is being assaulted by an enemy force.   We could not breach the gate. 
2). A gate would prevail, if it were opened and there was such a sizable force was on the other side of that gate that would defeat whatever was attacking the gates. 

So lets look at what is on the other side of that gate.  The devil and his demons are there, the fallen angels.  Also the condemned souls are there also.  Granted, the demons are smarter than us, and they know the law of God and the bible, better than any of us can know it.  Also, the demons hate us, because we are made in the image of God and they would do anything, risk any future torture in hell to have us under their power in hell so they could inflict suffering on God's creation.  

God made hell for the devil and his fallen angels, not for man.  All things are under God's power, and the only thing he will not supersede is our free will.  We can choose this kingdom of darkness and suffering for all eternity if we wish, just by choosing to do so by rejecting God by our sins.  So who let the demons out of hell? We did.  Whenever a condemned soul passes into hell, or a mortal sin is committed by man, more demons have a chance to escape and tempt the weak into mortal sin.  By the many sins in the world we have opened the gates of destruction and death that the evil one wishes to give to each one of us.  

The good news is that although we do not have the power to close the gates, through God's church and the sacraments and sacramentals, we can definitely ask God to close them!

Our Lord said that the Gates of Hell will not prevail against His church, whether the gates are opened or closed.  So if all of the demons were sent to attack the Church (which it feels like that sometimes!), Christ's Church, the Catholic Church will always prevail.    He didn't say we wouldn't take a hit, we wouldn't be knocked back or even down temporarily, but we will never be defeated.  (But we can't have even a toenail in the devils camp, we have to be 100% God's.)

Storm the Gates: Part 2: My Experience With Storming The Gates of Hell. 

"One Day Your Eyes Will Be Glad To See Me..."

John's Story: 

I died.  I went through the darkness to the light and was before the throne of judgement.  Looking around I saw my Guardian Angel, instantly recognizing him, although this was the first time I had ever laid eyes upon him.   I turned to my left and saw a hideously deformed creature that had nothing by hate and evil in his eyes, especially directed at me.   For the first time since I had breathed my last breath, I was afraid.  There was someone else there also, a woman, I didn't immediately recognize.  I knew where I was, I was at my judgement, and that scared me even worse. 

I hadn't lived the best life, I wasn't really nice to people, kind of selfish really, even in my own family.  Even when I was near death I didn't want to give anything to anyone, not even very many kind words.  Being given a time to die was a great gift, because, although I wasn't a perfect saint, I did have a chance to repair some damage I had done in my family and with God, but as I breathed my last I wondered if it would be enough?

Standing before the Throne of God, I could feel all of my sins in the light of that perfect love that is God.  I cannot even tell you how painful this was.  Every thing I had ever said, done or thought was before the Holy God, and how black was my sin.  Yes, some sin was not there because it had been repaired, but not all.   This is when the demon stepped up and made quite a list of my sins before God, claiming me for his kingdom because of them.  

You can't understand how painful it is to have sin on you and go before a Holy God who you know loves you so much.  The pain is so terrible, you just want to run from God with your shame of sin that is on you.  Even though I knew the demon was right, I wanted God's mercy but didn't know if I could have it.  

Then a voice spoke,  "Lord, will you be merciful to his soul? Lord, please spare him."  I looked around and saw the woman pleading to God on my behalf.  She was crying, begging God to spare me from hell.  Wait, how can that be, I thought there were no tears in heaven?  

Then galaxies collided as God spoke to me, "She is not in heaven, she is on the earth, pleading for you."   I got up the nerve to ask, "Lord, who is this woman?"  The Lord did not speak but showed me who she was.   I had met her in passing at a gas station, I had bumped into her, and even though it was my fault, I called her stupid and clumsy and as I bent down to pick up my keys that I had dropped.  I heard her whisper, "One day by the grace of God your eyes will be glad to see me."  No one else heard her but myself. I just thought she was crazy and went on my way never to think of her again. 

My thoughts were racing, "Why would she intercede for me, I was cruel to her, why would she do that for me?"

The Lord answered my thoughts, "Because she loves Me, and because of her love for Me, she also loves those I love, which includes you." 

Silence.  It seemed like eons passed.  

Then the Lord answered the questions that I still wanted answers to.  

"Because of her love, she has asked for the grace to plead for souls at their judgement that would otherwise face hell even though she is still on the earth.  She offers her tears in supplication to Me so that souls will not be lost."

It was at this moment that demon was sent away empty handed, and I felt God's mercy wash over me because of this woman's love for God, I realized what she said was right.  My eyes where glad to see her.

The story you have just read is a fiction, but the prayers are real.  We should pray constantly, and one great way to do it is in your normal routine.  You go to the grocery, there is an old woman ahead of you looking for her checkbook.  Instead of getting frustrated, say a prayer for her, "Lord, please be merciful to this woman at her judgement."  

The judgment is the last stop.  At this point, the soul does not have any more chances to repent, but that doesn't mean that God cannot show mercy.  We must fight for our brethren till the last possible moment so that God may show a soul mercy.   

If you saw someone hanging off a cliff, and you knew you could help them, wouldn't you?  Would it matter if you knew them or not?  What rejoicing you would have with this person after they were safe!  Later would come the exchange of names, etc.  

God is not bound by time, and even though we are, we can take God's timelessness for our brothers and sisters and seek God's mercy at their judgement.  This is no guarantee that the soul will not face Hell, for God has the final say, but we must make every effort and ask God's mercy always. 

War

I am at war.  Although I may not look like it, trust me I am in a great war that never ceases around me.  I fight a battle everyday for the souls in purgatory and the lost souls that fall into hell everyday.  The loss of souls is one of the greatest tragedies in the universe.  Because God's justice is perfect, lost souls are in hell of their own volition.  There is nothing more heartbreaking to realize that this sentence is for all time.  Those that are falling into hell right now will still be suffering there 1 million years from now, and 100,000 x 100,000 million years and so on..

Stepping on the battlefield for lost souls  is one of the most treacherous things you can do in relation to the status of your own salvation.  The reason for this is that you can't do anything for God.  You aren't doing God any favors by your prayers, even if 1000 souls where to be released from Purgatory with your prayer, you didn't do it, God did.   You just asked that the battle be waged, God is the one that did everything.  But in the warriors walk you are at constant risk of the same pride of the demon, thinking that what you may do in prayer is 'needed' by God.  I assure you, it is not.  Your prayer and supplication is for your brethren and for your advancement in holiness while on the earth.  Even your personal holiness should not be for you.  

When we seek to be holy or a saint, that is still seeking something for ourselves, but we should seek to be holy so that we can go before God and plead for others who are lost.  The motivation for this should always be out of love for God and love for others.  One of the greatest prayers that you can say is "Not for me Lord, not for me."  Nor should you seek that anyone see the war you are engaged in.  This is a silent work done alone just between you and God for others.  

Even in the gifts God gives sometimes we should seek less.  Don't seek to know the result of your prayer because if you knew what God was doing, then again you are subject to pride.  It is by the lack of knowledge that we attain great faith.  Sometimes even the gifts God gives we should seek less of them.  Don't seek visions and dreams, but ask God to give you less of these, for they too can be a source of pride.  By many graces we think we are special before God and rise ourselves above others when we should be a servant to all.  Ask God only to give you enough to keep you motivated in prayer. 

Engaging in the battle for souls is one of the greatest purification process you can ever partake of.   For if you pray for a lost soul with great love without seeking recompense for yourself, God will open His heart to you and He will hear your prayers.  This is when the demon's harvest of souls is greatly decimated. So much so that he will have no reason to hide from you.  Many times the evil one has tried to scare me from my work with different physical manifestations and has expressed great anger while I was engaged in prayer.  

Once in Saint Michael Catholic Church I was praying in front of the Blessed Sacrament and I clearly heard hooves stomping on the beams above me.  I ran out of the church.  A few days later when I came back, again I was praying and the Lord said to me, "Where I am you are not to run."  I've been scared a couple of times since, but I didn't run, because He told me not to.   

Courage in face of this hidden malice is something that can only come from God.  God is the one that gives courage, for fear is not of Him.  If we strive after this courage for the cause of the lost, God will give it to us.  

 Slowly as you continue to take the battlefield more and more, you realize how powerless the demon is in the face of God.   That doesn't mean he won't continue in his efforts, but you are affected less and less.  I think Saint John Vianney spoke of almost getting used to it, this is because you know that unless God allows it, the demon cannot hurt you.  

The Battlefield

First He let's you know the battle before you, how dire the situation really is.  Many now are on the path of destruction.  The scope of the problem is overwhelming.  Yet as one created in the image of God we have the great gift of intervention for our brethren.  

Does a soldier take the battlefield assured of 100% health at the end of the battle?  No.  Warriors know that the possibility of wounds or even death are a possibility.  But those who step on the battlefield take the risk because the victory is worth all that we must suffer to attain it.  

Even to our last breath and our last drop of blood we must fight for the lost...their souls are worth it.

The Cliff/Why Every Priest Should Be A Saint

I'm standing near the edge of a cliff.  The land is barren with no vegetation.  The edge of the cliff is jagged.  I look over the edge and see a drop that takes my breath away.  This is the eternal pit that if you fall in, you never come out of.  The fall into this darkness is for miles and miles.  At the bottom of this pit are horrors that I will not mention here.  

I look to my right and a mile wide along the edge of the cliff there are people standing at the edge ready to fall in.  Behind them, packed very tightly are thousands of souls behind the ones on the edge and they are so tightly packed that they cannot move even their arms easily.  They cannot run from the horror that awaits them as there is something constraining them, keeping them in place.  Occasionally one or two will break free of the bonds that are holding them and run away from the path of destruction.  

Then I see the most horrible thing.  People were being added to the back of this horrible line and the addition of more people somewhere in the distance was pushing the line forward, and pushing those in the front of the line....off the cliff.  

Their screams were horrific, for within them was complete hopelessness.

As the first ones on the row fell my heart broke, and caused me to draw my breath in with fear.  I strongly desired to see these souls be saved, but I was only one, and I had no ropes or any means to pull them away from their destruction.  I screamed to them, warning them of the fate that lay ahead, because many in the center of the throng could not see the destruction that awaited them.   I begin to pray my Rosary, offer the Stations to God so that souls would not fall into the pit.  Slowly, I see that some are breaking free of the bonds and changing the course that they were previously on.  There were free of this horrible fate.  I had done nothing for this effort, for God had done all, I just asked.  For God is moved by the heart of love for Him and when we love the souls that He loves.  If we love God, we must love those He loves.  

So by love of God and love of those He loves, God saves.  In the world that is more sinful than Sodom and Gomorrah, and so many souls are on this path of eternal destruction to worry about rules is like asking the man with a bullet wound to the chest to first fill out the forms before you will treat him.  Love them, get them in the hospital of the soul, (Christ's Church and the Holy Mass), and by your love you will change their hearts.  Just love them, and God will do the rest.  How easily we forget that we are only to present the truth, it is the Holy Spirit that brings it home every time.  How little we think of God if we think we must wag our finger at a sinner.  Just love them, for God is a big enough God that He can change the blackest of hearts to the most holy of Saints. 

Why Every Priest Should Be A Saint: Back At The Cliff.
I am praying and begging God to save souls, to convert the most blackest of hearts, and some are breaking free but still many are going over the cliff. I see a Priest who,like me, is outside of the throng of souls and he was seeing what was happening.  By the expression on his face I could tell he wanted to avert these souls being lost.  He too like me was praying and begging God that souls not to be lost.  He also was offering the Holy Mass and preaching to turn souls away from their fate.  I began to notice that his prayers gave a greater harvest of souls than mine did.  There was no jealousy, this made me very happy.  This Holy Priest by his calling from God and his effort with prayer was able to call at least 100 more souls away from the pit than I could.  

God is not a respecter of persons, He loves His Priests as much as He loves any of us.  He is not a respecter of persons, but He is a respecter of the Priesthood which He established.  When a Priests hands are anointed, it is God's honor that is placed in the hands of the Priest, and God will always respect what He has placed there.  For if the heart of the Priest is aligned with God out of love to save souls, what a harvest of souls can be saved!  

Why do you think the demon hated St. John Vianney so?  Because the demon knew that God not only heard the prayer of His priest,  but because of the love in the Saints heart for God and for souls not to fall into hell, God waged great destruction on the demon and countless souls where saved.  This destruction on the evil one was so great that it did not profit the demon to hide any longer and he made himself known on several occasions in order to dissuade the Holy Priest from his efforts to save souls.   The demon became so angry that he even told the Saint, "If there were three such priests as you, my kingdom [in France] would be ruined."  

Think of that...just three.  Three holy Priests could save a whole nation. 

Every Priest should be a Saint, because if a Priest is a Saint, he can save far more souls that one layperson with a rosary every could.
