Hell is Real...I've Seen It.

Hell IS real.  I have seen it.

I wasn't expecting to see hell that day, I was just going to Holy Mass as normal. 

When I went to the cup to drink the blood of Christ, after I had drank, I looked in the cup before handing it back and in the blood of our Lord, I saw hell.

Looking in the cup, the Holy Blood of our Lord was fire and there were burning souls as they writhed and screamed in the fire.  Yes.  I saw souls in hell.

This lasted maybe 2-3 seconds.

I didn't understand this at first.  I couldn't figure out why I saw hell in the blood of our Lord.  I'm sure the Eucharistic Minister wondered why my eyes where so big when I handed the cup back to her.

Praying over this for the next days, I think God showed me what I had seen.

The Holy Eucharist, in either form, but for what I saw, in the Holy Blood of Christ is the greatest expression of love of Christ to the Earth.  It IS the source and summit of our faith. 

The greatest love poured out by a Holy God was a source of the greatest suffering to those who had rejected that love by their own free will. 

How much worse will out suffering be, if we as Catholics take what is holy in a state of grave sin?

Go to confession. 

A Priest Saved My Life Tonight

The Priest says, "...This is my body."

And it is. 

"...This is my blood." 

And it is.

It is His body and His blood, He is truly present.

How can I describe what this feels like to be present when the Priest sets down the Eucharist on the altar after this moment. .

If one could be in the center of a galaxy when it is being created, this is it.  

The power of God that is present is terrifying.  How can I describe it.  He IS Holy. The fear of my death comes to me, because the Holy God is present, I can feel His power not only over the universe but over my next heartbeat.  I begin to pray trembling, "Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world."  I know why the Jews didn't want to go into the tent where God was, for in the presence of a Holy God, you realize how much dust you are.    

We are all in the presence of God now.

How could anyone dare to be in the presence of the Holy God and still live.  

Then the second miracle of the Holy Mass begins.

Yet still feeling His power, we experience His love and mercy for us when we take Communion and take His Body and Blood into ourselves.

 

It is evidence of God's mercy that we do not die instantly when we partake of our Lord's Holy Body and Blood at Mass.

This is the second miracle of the Holy Mass.  God loving us by giving us His very self to us, and protecting us from a physical death by the offering of the Priest of not only himself to God for us, but also offering the precious body and blood of our Lord Jesus back to God for us.

You went to Holy Mass and your Priest just saved your life, and you didn't even know it.

Vision of Eucharist (Part I)

It's time.

This is what I saw.  The words underneath the vision of the Eucharist is what I heard.  A man's voice, gentle, but with authority to it that you did not question.

Now the history.

I was baptized a Catholic as an infant.  Although I went to Catholic School, I never did get my first communion or my confirmation.  (There were problems at home).  We had school Mass every Friday morning.  We didn't have a "blessing", if you hadn't had your first communion, you just sat there and watched everyone else go.  This was torture.  

After Catholic School, I would still go to Holy Mass, at St. Michael the Archangel Church, but I would never take Holy Communion.  Again, I would just sit there.  I can't tell you how bad I wanted to take Holy Communion.  I KNEW it was Jesus, and as a result I was also terrified of it also.  Although I saw other people take the Blessed Sacrament, I  got to a point that I gave up ever being able to receive Holy Communion.  I can't tell you how much I would hunger for what I thought I would NEVER HAVE.  

I still prayed the Rosary.  Marriage, years went by.  

One night I had a dream.  In the dream I went into a beautiful church, and when I walked in there was red carpet and pews to the left.  To the right was the Altar in this Church and the Holy Eucharist was hanging over the Altar.  The Eucharist was as BRIGHT AS THE SUN!!  Before the Altar, was a one person kneeler.  (Like the one below - red cloth and everything!) The only difference was the kneeler in my dream didn't have the top part where you place your elbows when you pray. 

I knew Jesus was standing next to me, to my right.  I wasn't permitted to turn and look at Him.  I heard Him say in my dream, "Kneel and receive Communion." 

I said to him, "But Lord, there is no Altar for me to kneel on." (I meant the top was gone from the kneeler).  

The Lord said to me, "I will become the Altar." And He laid across the posts and became the wood and the cloth and I knelt and received Holy Communion.  

When I woke up, I knew what I had to do, I knew He was calling me to get my First Communion.   But how? I didn't know there was anything like RCIA.  I loved the Priest at St. Michael the Archangel, but he had such a deep voice he kind of scared me.  I thought I would find another Catholic Church to get my Communion from.  I called St. Martha's Catholic Church and their RCIA was starting in a few weeks. (Go figure!) 

I had never been to St Martha's, never stepped in the door.  I signed up for RCIA and started going there for instruction.   The first time I stepped into the Sanctuary at St Martha's, my breath was taken away, and i cried.

It was the EXACT same Church as in my dream.

When we take Holy Communion (note the word "Holy") - do we think about what we are doing? Do we prepare for the most important act we can ever do in our entire lives? Yes, I said the MOST important act you can ever do in your entire life, greater than any stature you may attain or any choices that you make in life.   You are taking into yourself, the Body, (Not bread - it is no longer bread, it is our Lord Jesus in the hidden form - but no less real.) Why do the Eucharistic miracles find the heart muscle when the Eucharist is examined? (See link at bottom of posting). Are we not taking His very heart into ourselves?  It is His Blood - his true and real blood that He shed for love for us and now we take at Holy Mass.  His soul...wow, that one gets me.  A touching of His soul with ours which fail Him in so many ways, what love is this!  And finally His Divinity... Stop...Repeat these words, "His...Divinity."  Are you not taking the second person of the most Blessed Trinity into yourself?

If we understood the gravity of just one small sin (not even mortal sin) that it should rightly condemn us to Hell for offending such a good and gracious God we would understand the breadth of God's mercy and His love for us.  "What is man that God is mindful of him?" Psalm 8:4.  And yet we who are sinners take our God into ourselves each time at Holy Mass.

I'm not telling you to take Holy Communion on the tongue, nor am I telling you it is wrong to take it in the hand.  I am just asking you to think about what you are doing.  What is the last thing we do at Holy Mass before we go up to receive the Holy Eucharist? We shake hands, the sign of peace, which is great.  But now you have to ask yourself, is my hand clean enough to take the Holy God into it? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, you don't really know. In the end this is a personal matter between us and our Lord.  All I'm saying is think about it, pray about it, ask the Lord what He wishes you to do. By all means do not let anything I say prevent you from receiving the Eucharist!  Come and receive our Lord in the Eucharist by all means, preferably after a good confession.
