The Heavenly Jackpot

There are angels constantly around us, luckily we cannot see the worst of them.  If we could see and perceive the bad ones we would be driven mad because our fleshly brain could not handle it.  God in His mercy hides many things from us that would do us harm.  But also because of our fallen, fleshly nature we cannot really perceive many of the heavenly things (like the good angels) unless God allows it.

Sometimes He lets me perceive the presence of an angel, or many angels.  This has happened on more than one occasion.

Recently I went into St. Bertrand to go to Holy Mass and I always come in the handicap entrance. As I dipped my hand in the Holy Water Font God allowed me to perceive (not see) the angel that was guarding that Holy Water font.

I stopped in my tracks.  I was aware of him, and I could perceive that he was aware of me and as my hand hovered over the holy water font, he was looking at me.

If God allows you to perceive something, He also allows you to have some knowledge about it.  I knew this angel's job was to guard this Holy Water font for all time.  I knew it held a spear of light which it held at its side ready for battle if needed.

Now understand, I am a Mathematician.  I analyze everything.  So my first thought is, "Why did God allow this?"  God wastes nothing, and if He allows you to perceive something it is either for your good or for the good of another.

Immediately my mind was racing, "Ok, what do I know and how do I use this."  I know that the Angels (all of them) always face the throne of God, no matter where there assignment is.  So whether an angel is assigned to protect you, a church, or a Holy Water font, they always have one face toward the throne of God.

So before I dipped my hand into the font I prayed a prayer under my breath so I knew the angel would hear it.

"Angel of the Holy Water Font, pray for me."

Then God in his grace allowed me to perceive the angels answer.

The angel nodded in assent to my request.

Wow.

Angels are constantly around us, but when God allows you to perceive one (or many), you have just won the proverbial heavenly jackpot.

Holy, Holy, Holy

"Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of Hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. " 

At this moment in the Holy Mass I can see where the throne of God is, although I cannot see God,  and I can see all of the angels and the Saints worshiping God around His throne. All of the universe is united in worshiping God at this moment.  All of the angels in heaven, all of the souls in Purgatory, every soul united with God is worshiping Him at this moment.  Human words cannot fully describe the joy and worship that is experienced in Heaven before the throne. 

This is why the Holy Mass has such an effect on every soul on the earth.   Because through the Holy Mass we participate in this Holy and Pure worship around the throne of God. 

Only a Priest in good standing with the Church can open this door to heaven for us.  To stand in the breach and be on earth but to be able to open heaven is a gift of the male Priesthood from the beginning.  No woman could withstand what is required and if for some reason the Pope where to ordain a woman to be a priest, he is signing her death warrant, for the first Holy Mass she would try to celebrate would mean her physical death. 

I know what the Holy Mass is.  I go to Holy Mass because I love God and I love others.  Having brushed the edge of eternity by God’s grace I live in a state of constant mourning for the souls that are constantly choosing hell.   God has let me know the state of souls in the world and He does not desire any soul to go to hell, but many because of lack of love, selfishness or just plain evil choose it DAILY.  Yes, souls are falling into Hell and will be there for all eternity as you are reading this.  They shall NEVER get out. 

God does not leave us unaided, but who will receive the truth and not push it away?  Many receive graces from God and just push it away.  I didn’t, I went after Him, pursuing His mercy for others.  God is not far away, and He WANTS TO BE FOUND.  As a result God has shown me the tools that He has given to mankind that can be used to seek His mercy for others.

Why do you go to Holy Mass Catholic?  Do you go because your family goes to this Church? To see if someone else showed up or what someone is wearing? Do you go because it is ‘what you have always done’?  Because you went to School at the Parish?   That may be all well and good, but that is not your mission as a Catholic .  If you love God, great, seek your salvation and the salvation of your family, but I enjoin you to broaden your horizons beyond your own family and parish and seek the salvation and the good of the Muslim, the Atheist,  anyone that has been given to you.  Seek their salvation by pleading to the throne of God for them during the Holy Mass and then take Holy Communion for them.

This is what you are made for, that through you, the world is changed.  Catholics in a state of grace seeking what is good first for our families and parish and then for another. 

Do not pour yourself out one drop less for the one who hates you as the one that loves you.

The Last Age Before the Messiah Comes: The Age of WAR.

In all history of God there have been three ages and we are in the last of the three ages.

The first age was the Age of the Prophets,  This is the age of the creation of Man, the coming together of the Chosen people, the House of Israel, and their purification up to the coming of the Messiah.  We see God crying to His chosen children begging for their repentance and for them to turn away from their sin.

The second age is the Age of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.  This encompasses His holy conception in the womb of the Virgin Mary and continues through His life, miracles, preaching, suffering, death and resurrection.  This age was not completed at the Resurrection of Jesus, but continuing till the present day with the fruit of the apostolic spreading of the Word of God via the Holy Spirit.  

The last age that has started, and is continuous with the Age of the Messiah is the Age of War.  This is the most terrifying of the three ages, because at the end of this age the Lord Jesus returns.  

Whenever there was a danger to God's people, God has ALWAYS sent a Prophet, a Messenger to warn of the danger, and beg the people to repent of their sin and turn back to our Holy God before it was too late.  Too late for what? For Christ's return which is closer than anyone can imagine.

If you understood the terror of the Cross you would listen to me.  What should terrify us is what it truly means that God Jehovah took flesh and submitted to the Crucifixion for our Salvation.  

This brings a great responsibility on our part to be HOLY.  

Yes, God is infinitely merciful and does not desire the loss of one soul, no not one.  But God is perfectly just, and when He returns as the just Judge, there will be no more time for mercy!  Where the economy of the soul is at that moment can determine the souls destination for ALL ETERNITY.   Do not let the light be extinguished at night unless you have reconciled yourself to God. 

God always prepares His people for the next big event in the economy of Eternity.  God sent the Prophets, they were abused, scoffed at, killed.  God sent His Son, and He was Crucified. 
But GOD ALWAYS PREPARES THE WAY for His next arrival!  

But this preparation is very different.  Yes, God is sending messengers to give the hard truth to as many as possible, but there is something more this time.  God is training and preparing Warriors for battle with the demons for the souls of the lost.  The state of sin in the world is so great, it is greater than the time of the flood of Noah. So God is sending those who will lay down comfort and sacrifice in pleading with God for the blackest of hearts.  God does not need those He sends, but by what those sent will have to suffer for the sake of the Gospel and speaking the truth, God will bring souls to repentance and at the same time purify the Warrior for a greater battle ahead.

27 People were eating and drinking, marrying wives and husbands, right up to the day Noah went into the ark, and the Flood came and destroyed them all.

28 It will be the same as it was in Lot's day: people were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building,

29 but the day Lot left Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and it destroyed them all.

30 It will be the same when the day comes for the Son of man to be revealed.

31 'When that Day comes, no one on the housetop, with his possessions in the house, must come down to collect them, nor must anyone in the fields turn back.

32 Remember Lot's wife.


33 Anyone who tries to preserve his life will lose it; and anyone who loses it will keep it safe.

Now is the time for Holy Souls, innocents, that will willingly lay down their comfort for the sake of the conversion of sinners.   We can no longer deny that we are at war with the devil for the souls of the lost.  We can do nothing for God but we can plead to God and sacrifice something of comfort for our brother in penance for his or her sin.   

The Prophets and Preachers of this age must speak the truth of God, and the Warriors will make war on the Earth battling the devil.  Woe to those who are called to preach the Gospel at this time and reject this call!  

With the Stations offered for a Country, a City, or just to bind a great sin in the way God would have it bound, if our heart is aligned with love for God and seeking only the salvation of lost souls then we can be in our own home church, and at God's will , we can wage war against the demon on the whole Earth.   

With the Holy Mass, the Stations, and the Holy Rosary, if God allows it, the Catholic can change the face of the Earth.   (The trick is you must remain hidden). 

With God with us and with St. Michael the Archangel and the Holy Angels to defend us, who can come against us?  The Rosary is my weapon, humility is my shield and Holy Confession and Holy Communion are my armor in this fight.  

We have been prepared for the Messiah, we have had the Messiah come, and now...we are preparing for the return.   Do I know when this is? No. No one does, and if they say they do, they are either a liar or deceived by the devil.  

"When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the Earth?"  This is our hourglass so to speak, the only measure given us of a possible timing of His coming.  As the world becomes more atheistic and secular, so is the time so much shorter for our repentance and/or conversion before our Lord comes again. 

Now is the time to be AWAKE!

The Seraphim

One day while I was on my way to Holy Mass, I saw my priest walking up his driveway.  I said a prayer for him and pleaded to the Holy Seraphim for him,that he would be protected.   I sought the highest level of angels for him because I was given how much a Priest is hated by the evil one.  If the demon was given the choice of any person whose life he could take on the earth, the first person he would pick would be a good and holy priest on the path to becoming a saint.   We do not understand the protection God gives us daily by His angels. 

For a moment I was no longer in my car, but I was close to these large beings that I knew where before the throne of God.  They are constantly before God, and there is no space or gap between them as they are before the Lord, they are like a constant wall surrounding the Throne.   I see why the prophet saw so many wings, because the light coming from them makes them look like multi-winged creatures.  I saw one of the Seraphim turn from God to look at me and hear my plea.  This astounded me, because nothing happens unless God allows it.  The Seraphim's job is to be before the Throne, giving glory and praise to God, but God in His goodness and love for us has not denied us even this highest of ranking angels, the ones that are His alone.  Even these angels that are solely God's He will not deny us.  The Seraphim that turned from the throne of God not because I am anything special, because I am a creature that will die, they will never die.  But God allowed this turning from His throne to hear my plea for my priest out of His love for us.  

How can one understand the depth of the love of God that will not deny a child created from dust the attention of his most beautiful and holy creatures that are for Him alone?  The Seraph could not have turned from God unless God had allowed it.  

I love Him so, but it is so little compared to how love God loves us. 

I was given to  understand that the Seraphim are the largest angels, if there is such a thing as size in the realm of eternity.  

Understand, what was given to me, was for my understanding only, it is the only way I could comprehend a concept that God was trying to show me.  I was shown that the Seraphim are big, like their feet would be on Pluto and their head would be at the sun.  Understand, this was only for my limited understanding, because God wished to give me a scale I understood so I could convey that the Seraphim are large.  But in the realm of eternity, where the Seraphim are, there are not such measurements and I can not fully understand the meaning of this "measurement" of an angel until I was myself in eternity. 

"So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help"  Hebrews 4:16

And The Heavens Opened..

So much happens at one Holy Mass, that it would take more words than exist to explain it.

There is only one place on the earth where the heavens are opened and a human has direct access to the very throne of God for his or her petition.....this is the Holy Mass.

The Saints are in attendance, looking down from heaven, so happy that the Holy Mass is being offered for us. I have seen the saints looking down from heaven, smiling, so happy for us.    I have seen the angels before the throne of God taking the Holy Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist to the Father in propitiation for us.

As Jesus our Lord poured everything out for us on the Cross, so does the Father pour out himself to us in the Holy Mass in an expression of love and mercy that cannot be understood while in the flesh.  One Holy Mass benefits the world more in 30 minutes than would a prayer from every person on the planet at that very moment.  

Because the Holy Mass is where the Heavens are opened with a direct line to the Throne of God the Father, the Holy Mass is the GREATEST EVENT THAT HAPPENS ON THE EARTH.  If the Holy Mass were never to be celebrated on the earth again, then this gift of the heavens being opened would cease and the world with it.

The Holy Mass is the greatest expression of love on the earth until our Lord comes again.  

So even though the Church does great social and charity work, but the greater work is to have Holy Masses celebrated or offered for the dead or for those living who are in a state of grave sin.  Yes we should feed the hungry, but to feed the body is temporary, the Holy Mass feeds the soul with the bread of eternity. 

The Holy Mass is the front line in the battle for souls, for by having access to the Throne of God in the Holy Mass, we have a responsibility to seek the salvation of our brethren.   We are Catholic, and by the gift of the Holy Mass and Eucharist we are called as our brother's keeper, pouring out ourselves upon the altar and begging the Father before His throne for those who are not in attendance at the Holy Mass, and will probably never be.   We go boldly before the Throne of God pleading for them, and also taking Holy Communion for them. 

In the Holy Mass there is a form of mini 'exorcism' for the souls in attendance, for when the Priest holds the broken Eucharist of our Lord and says.....

This is when the demons run.  Once at Holy Mass, the demons where attacking me and when the Priest held up the Eucharist and said "Behold the Lamb of God...", they left me immediately and I was at peace.  They do not like to be in the presence of the Lord truly present in the Eucharist, especially after the Priest breaks the Eucharist because this reminds them of their defeat 2000 years ago when Jesus went to the cross. 

What would you ask of God the Father if you were able to stand before the very Throne of God and yet still be alive afterwards?  You have this opportunity every day, just find where the Holy Mass is being celebrated.  

Many souls go to hell, go daily to Holy Mass, pray the Rosary and plead to God for the lost. 

Where Does Evil Come From?

Where does Evil Come From?

In the beginning God Said, "Let there be light."  And there was light.  God creates with His word, and when He gave the angels free will He also gave them this ability to create out of their words, although to a much lesser degree. 

God is all good, there is no darkness in Him.  However, having infinite knowledge of all of His creation, He knew of evil as a concept (because God knows all things), but at this time evil only existed in the mind of God as a concept, a potentiality.  When he gave the angels free will they two had a knowledge of what rebellion was, and again evil was just a concept.  This knowledge was given for otherwise their will would not be free because they would have no other choice but the good God.  To truly choose God freely, they were given knowledge of "another way" and the fearful freedom to choose.  Again, this was only a concept in the mind of God and the angels, at this time evil did not yet exist.  

God did not create evil, even though He knew about it.  By his pride and arrogance when Lucifer rebelled against God, his words were, "I will not serve."  Lucifer spoke rebellion and evil into existence by these words. (This is why obedience of mind and heart is such a powerful weapon against the evil one.)  Rebellion and all that is evil is the sole creation of the evil one.    

Then Michael the Archangel spoke, "Micha'el! Micha'el!" or "Who is Like God!"  By this St. Michael spoke in defense of God out of love for God.  He had no fear of what the other angels would think!  By the power of God, Saint Michael was given the voice that would cast Satan out of Heaven.  By the words of Saint Michael every faithful angel in heaven was put to our defense if we would so call upon them.  These angels would protect and defend God's creation in complete obedience to God, which includes us.  

This is why when Jesus encountered demons, the first thing He ever said to them was, "BE SILENT"  He was taking away the demon's power to create any more destruction by his speech.  First He silenced them, then He expelled them.  

Didn't Jesus warn us about our speech?  "It is not what enters one’s mouth that defiles that person; but what comes out of the mouth is what defiles one."  Matthew 15: 11   

Think about that.  What comes out of our mouth, if evil, defiles us.   Of course it does! Isn't that what happened to Lucifer?  He spoke rebellion, and by doing so, his heart and his whole being was made evil by his speech.  He didn't become 'partially' evil, no, he was made wholly evil and no part of him could remain in heaven.  All of this from just four words..."I will not serve." 

What do you speak?  Do you curse regularly?  Do you laugh and joke when something bad happens to someone that you know, delighting in someone else's misery?  Or do you gleefully tell everyone around you someone else's misgivings.   We must be VERY CAREFUL with what we speak.   Speech is to inform, encourage, uplift and instruct...doesn't that sound like what Jesus did?   

We will reap every word that we have sown in our lives, whether evil or good.  One of the greatest evils one can speak is to deny God's existence or destroy someone's faith by your words.   Some of the greatest good that you can do with words is to teach the Gospel and/or seek forgiveness from God.  (The Act of Contrition in the Confessional is done with speech ~ not silently.) 

We should never be afraid of what is evil, God has all power over any evil.  Evil was not within his range of creation, but it is always within His domain to hinder or stop it according to His will, our faith, prayer*, and of course His mercy.

*This is also why spoken prayer can be so powerful. 

Infinity Over Infinity - or Why Jesus has to be God.

To understand why Jesus has to be God, we have to understand the Father also.  The Father is infinite, with no beginning and no end.  Therefore, his attributes are also infinite.  His knowledge is infinite and, most important to us, his memory is infinite.  We were created, and we have a beginning, but with a soul that shall exist forever.  God is the creator of life, and if the angels shall not taste death or annihilation, then neither shall we, to say that our souls face an annihilation is not consistent with the nature of God as creator of life.  We shall be "somewhere" for all time.  A short time, (very short when you think about it) in the flesh, and then eternity either with God or banished from His presence.  

So let's go back to the Father's memory.  The Father's memory is infinite, which means He will remember all things for all time.  (He is actually not bound by time, but that is another blog post) So think about that, what you do in the flesh God will remember for all time.  Every thought, word, or deed is remembered perfectly by God.  Your unforgiven sins are remembered by God forever, and as such unforgiven sins will face another aspect of God, His justice.  The justice of God is perfect and also infinite.  If something is perfect, then it is implemented with perfection, and carried out to it's perfect end. There is no skirting the justice of God.  At the judgment, there shall be no excuse for your sin, for if it is unforgiven and if God's justice is perfect, then you MUST face the consequences of your sin at the judgement.  God, although loving you and not wishing your banishment to Hell or suffering in Purgatory, because of His nature of being perfectly just, He will carry out that perfect justice.  He can be nothing less.  Can the perfect justice of God turn a blind eye to an offense? No.  We will pay every farthing for our sins, either in purgatory or for all time in hell.  

But wait, we have the Blood of Jesus, right?  Yes, but that was 2000 years ago, how does an event 2000 years ago apply to the sins of those today?  There is only one answer, the Cross of Christ is a oblation by an infinite God which can reach through all time.  God is infinite, He took flesh in the second person of the Holy Trinity, Jesus.  Jesus, true God and true Man.  The Infinite God, who came to earth and gave the perfect oblation for all time.  For if God remembers forever and our sin has an infinite consequence, then what can cover a judgement that will be on us for all time?

What can cover infinity? Only infinity. The number 2 cannot cover infinity, nor can the largest known useful number in the universe (Grahams Number) encompass that which is forever and ever. 

The infinite oblation of the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, true God and true Man is the only thing that can cover a sin that has an infinite consequence in eternity.  

Infinity over Infinity, the only way to open Heaven so that God can give us His greatest gift...Himself.  For their is nothing else worth trying to attain in this eternity that we face than to see our God in the face.  

For those that say that Jesus was not God, they are either mislead or liars.  If Jesus is not God then the sacrifice He offered was finite and not infinite and only covered the sins of those that were present at the Crucifixion, and not for us. (As humans, we can offer penance and sacrifice to God for the salvation of souls, but only while we are in the flesh, when we are in eternity and have no flesh we can no longer offer sacrifice, so if Jesus was not God, His sacrifice was only while He was on the Earth, and no farther.)  And if this is so then we are still in our sins and facing an eternity without God.  

So, Jesus was God, His sacrifice was a perpetual sacrifice for all humanity from the time of the Crucifixion until the end of time. We can alleviate the eternal punishment (judgement) for our sins by the Confessional and Penance. (Confession sounds pretty good right now, doesn't it?)  Go to confession, go frequently, and do MUCH penance for your sins and the sins of those you love.  Time is shorter than you know.
