Where The Devil Will Always Tell the Truth

Ruben Last Judgement

When you were born, you were given a name.  Your name has a meaning whether you are aware of it or not.  (look it up).    My name: Adele has the meaning: "Noble, nobility."

We all have a name, and that name has a meaning, whether or not it defines our character may be a different matter.

There are three ways in which we receive a name.  1.  Our parents name us.  2.  We name ourselves by sin.  3.  God RENAMES us by His redemptive grace.  He names us "Forgiven", "Son" or "Daughter,"  "Redeemed."

Never forget that the devils are constantly about seeking our destruction.  They see everything we do, and when we step into sin, this is when they are the most encouraging for us to continue.  When we are given the name "Forgiven".  The devil wants desperately for us to abandon that name and take up again the name of our sin.  (This is why he is always tempting us.)

The devil is a liar, he constantly lies and tries to draw us away from the truth of God.  He can tell big lies, but usually only after he has laid the groundwork with a lot of smaller deceptions that we have swallowed by our own free will.  Like a fish, he hooks us and then tries to drag us in a little deeper, one small step at a time.  Never believe anything the devil tells you, but there is one situation in which he will always tell the truth.

A man who died in a car accident and then was revived afterwards tells a very interesting story.  He would go to Church on Sunday, but also visit prostitutes regularly.   He said when he passed into the void he immediately heard a demon screech, "He’s mine, he’s mine.”  The voice screamed. “His name is liar, liar, liar, and I am taking him to the Lake of Fire.”  (Link at bottom of this article)

The devil told the truth, and this is the one situation in which he always will.  The devil has no problem with telling the truth when he knows by God's justice that the truth he will tell will condemn you for all eternity.    The man had renamed himself "liar", not "fornicator" or "whoremonger", but "liar", why?  Because he was lying to God by playing Church and then willingly and knowingly engaging in his sin of choice.   If he hadn't been in Church his name might have been "fornicator" or "whoremonger", but he still would have faced the possibility of an eternity in hell depending on his judgement.

There is absolutely nothing you can hide from God.  Your thoughts, intentions, He knows it all.  The devil on the other hand does not.   The devil can make some very good educated guesses based on your behavior, and trust me, he does prowl constantly seeking our destruction.  We do not fear the devil, but God who is the just judge.  But know that when we die and go to our judgement, we will have the 'accuser' there to accuse of every sin we have committed and seek to rename us as "damned."

When the devil names you by your sin at the judgement, it is the one time he will always tell the truth, because before the judgement seat of God there is only truth.  Whatever your sins are you will not be able to deny them, your reason for saying every word, committing every act will be revealed.   The demon will fight hard for your soul, using all the ammunition we have given him by our sins.

The devil is hidden in this world, but not unperceived.  To fight him we must turn the tables on him.  Use what we know to disarm and expel him.  The devils goal is to remain hidden and do as much destruction as he possibly can.  He does this by inspiring and tempting people into sin that will put them in the devil's territory and not God's.  So we must remain hidden, seeking the good of the other, by seeking and pleading to God for their salvation.

The truth is on the devils lips, but only at our judgement, and only so that that truth will condemn us.   To have victory at our judgement over the demon, we must live hidden lives for God and for love of another so that the word of our deeds spoken at the judgement will bring pain to the devil and not us.

Hell is absent of all the good things that God gives us.  There is no sleep, rest, water, food, comfort in hell.  These are the first pains of the devil, but the greatest defeat he can receive is when we conform ourselves to the life of Jesus for love alone.  What this means is a sacrificial love for another seeking nothing for self.  This love is given because we love God and only desire what He does.  When these deeds are presented to the devil, this is his great pain, but it is not the deed itself that causes him the greatest pain.  The greatest pain is the heart of love attached to the deed by the holy soul for love of God.  This is when the devil truly suffers fire before the judgement seat.    The fire that satan would have us suffer is given back to him.

Job accepted every suffering given and did not lose faith in God, but at his lowest the devil entered his wife and spoke through her.    "His wife said to him, "Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!"  Job 2:9.   Remember, this was before Jesus, if Job had listened to his wife, I believe the devil was just laying in wait for Job to issue the curse against God so he could instantly take his life and drag him to hell.

Mary, when seeing Jesus whom she loved suffer so much for the sake of all of us yet she did not get angry or question God, she just said....

"So be it Lord."

Accept your suffering, offer it for your purification and the conversion of sinners and trust HIM.

The devil's ultimate goal for you is the same he had for Job, for you to curse God and be with him for all eternity in Hell.  God in His mercy will allow you to suffer some things for your purification so that you can enter into Heaven.  So when you suffer, but like His Mother and say..."So be it Lord."

TRUST HIM

TRUST HIM

TRUST HIM!

Mathematics and Mysticism

St. Francis Adoring the Crucifix

The Catholic Church calls those that have extra-ordinary revelation, "mystics."

I do not like this term, The mystical is shunned and looked down on in our society because some people look on the mystic as someone unbalanced, or if their revelations are believed, then they are looked upon as a person who has attained a friendship with God to which no one else can attain.  There is nothing farther from the truth.  God gives 'information' to some souls that love Him greatly to call all those that perceive the revelation to a state of grace and holiness to which the mystic should  already be living.

Mystical revelation is looked on skeptically by the Church, as it well should.  The Catholic Church is the safeguard of the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ, and should maintain that trust by giving a questioning countenance to any who would seek to add (or take away!) of the already perfect knowledge given by our Lord Jesus Christ.   Great discernment is required of the Church so as the faithful will not be turned away from the truth that the Church safeguards.

Mystical information is just that, 'information', and is very much like Mathematical information.

Euler's Identity...Isn't it Beautiful!

If I know Euler's Identity, it does not make me great to have this knowledge, because the Identity existed before I did.  To attain knowledge of the Identity, I was given a basic knowledge of it and that it was possible to know this beautiful equation.  In faith, I pursued this knowledge, and with effort I attained it.  As I am not the creator of the Identity, my stature is no way enhanced by the knowledge perceived in the Identity.  Yet as a flesh and blood woman who will one day die, if I truly love Mathematics, the beauty of the Identity and my fellow human being who may not be aware of such beauty, then I have an obligation to pass on the truth of the Identity to anyone who would listen in the hope to stir a love in another's heart that already beats in my own.

Mystical information is just that...information.  If the receiver is prideful and wishes to be carried in a gold chair, they need to get over themselves.  The true mystic who has truly encountered the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is laid out on the floor shaking to their bones in fear at the encounter.  They speak afterwards of fearing God, and you see a noticeable change in their lives which may be hard to perceive.  With the true mystic, a normal life goes out the window.  The true mystic never embraces the pleasures of the world, but they will seek to do many prayers and penances, not for themselves, but for others.   A true mystic has been given the scariest 'information' ever received from God.  This information is found in this scripture:  "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few." (Matthew 7:13-14).

Having touched the edge of Eternity, the mystic now is on a mission to become the greatest friend of God, not for themselves but to plead for the other.  They are willing to lose, home, reputation, advancement, family and friends to attain even that one soul on the path of destruction (and there are many), may not face the 2nd death.  They are hidden in everyday life, seeing the old woman at the grocery store and right their in line at Krogers, pleading to God to be merciful to her at her judgement.

Much knowledge is hidden from them because they only seek the information needed to seek God's mercy for another...not for themselves.  To this end they never know the results of their prayers.  So why would a person continue?  Because in their acting on their faith God has given them even greater faith to carry them onward.  The life of the mystic is the greatest witness that in sometime in their past they have encountered the reality of God to such a degree that they will never be the same again.

I encourage all who read this to dive into this deep friendship with God.  Here are some pointers.

  1. God knows your heart, purify yourself with the tools of our faith.  Confession, Holy Mass, Rosary, Stations....etc.    Do much penance for yourself and when you are clean, you can do penance for your brother.
  2. Be hidden in everything you do, tell no one of any accomplishments or anything you do for another, let it just be between you and God.
  3. Ask something great of God that does not contradict scripture in any way, and then offer something to God for Him to complete it. (Penance, Rosary, Stations, Novena's...)   You can't ask God to eliminate murder, as God will work all things for good, but you can ask for the conversion of an atheistic abortion doctor in your area.  Don't expect to know what God does with your prayer.  Trust Him.
  4. Don't do blanket prayer, asking for the conversion of many, remember Jesus healed one at a time.
  5. Go to War.  Set your mind that this soul you are asking for is hanging from a cliff with only two fingers keeping him or her from eternal suffering in hell.  This is not the time for a half hearted Hail Mary.  Use everything you've got and petition God with many tears for the soul that He loves, no matter what state of sin that soul may be in.   This is a great time for time in front of the Blessed Sacrament, and if you can't go in person, set it in your mind what this looks like, and at every spare moment be mentally in front of the Blessed Sacrament pleading for this soul.
  6. Know when to stop, and then don't ask again.  You will feel a 'completeness' in your prayer, now let it go, and go on to the next thing.  Don't be like Lot's wife and look back, God will work in His time, not yours.  Again, trust Him.
  7. Ask God to keep you motivated, and then watch what happens.

Many souls are on the path to destruction, they need your prayers...happy hunting.

The Hidden Mother

I see you and you do not know it, I watch you and you do not see me.  I don't want you to.  It is better for you if you if you never know me as who I really am.  When I do get a glimpse of  you, my heart leaps for joy for the gift of holding you with my eyes, because I know I will never hold you with my Mothers arms.  I am so proud of you, but I can never tell you that.  The best thing I can do for you is be hidden, loving and praying for you.  If who I am to you is every revealed, God will have to do it for I never will.  I am....

The Mark

Every Catholic Priest that walks the Earth had a mark placed on him at his conception for the Priesthood.   This is a gift by God as a reflection for what God did for Mary in her womb, because every Priest is her son.  The Priest is not immaculate, but only marked as one chosen for the Priesthood.  This is not a guarantee that he will become a Priest, it is up to God whether or not he is called later.

I am sure that there are a few Priests walking the earth that were not called, although they are very few.  But the Priest, whether called or not will always carry this mark as being chosen to the Priesthood from conception.

Some of us are chosen to be the protector, parent and instructor of such children, and what you see is amazing.  How can you tell them what you know?  They don't understand why people, complete strangers want to engage him, talk to him, get to know him.  But I know.  Eternity truly is in our hearts, and somewhere deep inside, these people know that the young man they want so much to speak can provide them a path to heaven.  They don't understand how, but somewhere deep inside, they know.

I have also seen the look of hatred on a face looking at my son.  I knew what this was too.  There is a look of evil on the face of one that is either pure evil or possessed by the same that can not be duplicated in human form.  They hate him for what damage he could potentially do to them, but they are not allowed to touch him.

As always, I am curious.  "God why did you let me see that?"  Knowledge is always given for a reason.  I was made aware of the real danger that we both face, and by God's grace are protected from.

This is not the first time I had encountered this either.  I met with a young sweet faced Deacon who was soon to be a Priest in the church at OLPH.  (Now Father Doug Marcotte at Sacred Heart, Jeffersonville, IN) I gave him a copy of the vision of the Eucharist, I'll never forget the smile on his face!  He talked about his journey to the Priesthood and how much he had to study, etc.  I told him, "Oh don't worry, you will be a Priest, it is imprinted on your soul."  (My Mother always said I told everything I knew...so what I know I will say.)

I also encountered another young man about my son's age, that has this gift from God.  I also gave him a copy of the picture of the Eucharist saying, "You know only a Priest can do that!"  (Hint, Hint!) But the most memorable was being with my son and for just a moment feeling the power of God come from his hands.

Will my son be a Priest? I don't know, whatever path he takes is between him and God.   I love him no matter what he becomes.  Whether he is called or not, I am thankful to be be his Mother and pray that I teach and guide him well.

Joseph and Mary's House: A Modern Mini Play

Time:  1970's
Location: Midwest farm...the Kitchen.

A young boy of the age of 12 with brown hair sat at a kitchen table, writing something on a paper, possibly a homework assignment.  Into the kitchen comes a woman with brown hair, tied in a bun in a blue dress with a baby on the hip.  There are two small children trailing behind her, and she is carrying a bag of groceries.

"Jesus..."

She didn't even have to finish His name, the young boy at the table had turned when she came in the room and was already rising from his chair, taking the grocery bag from her and digging into the bag to put the food away.

Jesus, looking puzzled at the child his Mother was carrying, touched the baby of about 11 months on the cheek and said, "Who is this?"

The young Jesus then noticed the two children hiding behind his Mother.  He knelt down as His Mother moved out of the way and spoke to the newcomers.

"Well, hello."  He looked at the child closest to him, "What is your name?"

The children looked shy and scared, unsure of their new environment, unsure if they should divulge any information.

Mother Mary then gently touched the head of the tallest, blond headed boy as she said, "This is James, he is 8, and that is his little brother Joseph who is 5."    Mother then spoke directly to the boys.  "Boys, this is your new brother Jesus."  She then turned to the little girl she was holding, brushing the hair out of her eyes.  "And this is Miriam their little sister."

Jesus took the baby from His Mother's arms, leaving her free to begin to prepare the food she had brought.

"Come on," Jesus said, "Let me show you the house and the workshop where Dad is."

"They are probably hungry, so tell your Dad we are going to eat a little early."

"I will."

"Jesus, don't take Miriam to the workshop, please put her in the playpen, she is crying because she is hungry now.  I'm going to warm up some milk and feed her "

Jesus did as His Mother requested, but looked questioning at her wondering if she needed help.  She looked back with the look of, "It's ok, I've got this."

Jesus led the boys through the house, showing them the different rooms.  He showed them their rooms, and the beds they would sleep on.    He then took them to an outbuilding/barn near the animal pens where sawing could be heard.

The older man looked up from his work to the door and saw a shadow of a young boy, with the sun shining bright behind him.  His heart leaped at the sight of the form of his son.  Jesus stepped into the workshop and two smaller boys where revealed to be behind him.

Seeing the new children, Joseph looked questioningly at his son.

Jesus looked back at him as if to say, "You know who did this."

Joseph nodded slightly for he knew indeed who had brought these children into the household.  His wife was always bringing some new child into their home as either a permanent or temporary addition.  Sweet Mother that she is, if she was out and saw or heard of a child being mistreated, hungry or abandoned, she would say, "Give the child to me, I will be it's Mother."    As a result, the Joseph and Mary house was always full of children.

Joseph never questioned any of this, he would just thank God that as a carpenter he could provide whatever the new child or children needed.  He knew his wife's faith was completely unshakable and as a result, the family had lacked nothing, no matter it's size.

Once when Joseph had questioned Mary about how they were to feed all the children that she had brought into the house, Mary didn't even look distressed.  Mary sat down at the kitchen table, next to Jesus, looked Jesus in the eye and said, "I'm sure that God will provide for us whatever we need."  Mary's eyes never wavered from her son's face as she then added, ".....Isn't that right, Jesus."

Jesus looked to his stepfather Joseph for help, but Joseph just looked silently at his son, as if to say, "She's got you there son. You know how hard it is to say 'no' to her."

Jesus gently looked back at his Mother and smiled as He said, "Yes Mother, I am sure God will provide whatever we need."

And so it was.

Back in the barn Jesus turned to his stepfather and said, "This is James, and his younger brother Joseph."

Joseph said, "James and Joseph, welcome to the family!  We will have a great time and if you like I will teach you what I am doing."

Little James spoke up, "What are you doing?"

"Well, do you see these chairs here?  God put it on my heart to make them a couple of weeks ago, and I am just finishing them, just in time for your arrival!  You see God knows everything, and He knew I would need these chairs for you."

"Oh, Mother said we are going to eat early, so we should probably go to the house."

"Alright, let's grab the chairs."

Joseph and Jesus each grabbed a chair, and they each took the hand of a child and began to walk back to the house.

As they neared the house, Joseph could hear the cry of an infant.  Joseph stopped  and looked at Jesus.  Jesus put down the chair he was carrying, and held up three fingers.

Joseph smiled as he said softly, "Of course there is three, I wouldn't have it any other way. "

"OK boys, let's get in and get washed up before supper."

"I'm Here."

"Mom, why do you go to Mass everyday?"

"Because I love Him."

"Who?"

"Our Lord."

"Oh."

"You don't understand do you."

"Not really."

"Well to fall in love, you have to spend time with someone.  I didn't fall in love with your Father just by spending one hour with him once a week.  We talked, shared, spent time in a kind of 'adoration' of each other every day.  It's the same.

"But you don't have to right?"

"I don't have to do anything, that is what free will is.   But because I do love Him, I want to go, I miss Him if I don't or can't go. "

"Why is so important to go to Mass? Wouldn't your time be better spent if you helped the homeless or something?  Isn't that what Jesus would want?  It seems kind of boring to me."

"My child, you don't know what is happening at the Holy Mass.  Let me try to explain.  First of all charity is always important, but there is nothing in the world that has more benefit for souls than to go to Mass.  In the Mass, heaven itself is opened and God comes down at the words of the Priest and is truly present, in the Eucharist, the communion.  And we who are present have a unique opportunity to plead to God for the souls of those that are lost to Him, purifying their souls in the process."

"Think about it this way, do you think there was any way Jesus' Mother would have gone shopping on the day that he was being tortured and crucified?"

"No...no way, she had to be there!"

"Why?  Did Jesus need her to be there?"

"Well, yeah, you want your Mom when things are going bad."

"If He was God, and He was, He didn't 'need' her because He is God, but that is not to say He didn't want her there, just like He wants all of us."   "Do you think Jesus loved his Mother?"

"Of course."

"Then if Jesus loved His Mother, and wanted her present at His suffering and death, and knowing Jesus's love for us, how much more does He want us to be present at the Holy Mass when the cross is 're-presented' on the earth?"

"I never thought of it that way."

"I go to Mass everyday because I love him and I need him.  Unfortunately, in the past as is now bad things are happening in the world, and sometimes I just say to Him in His suffering.... "I'm here."

Before the Fall...."That Could Have Been Me."

Jesus said, “I have observed Satan fall like lightning from the sky."  Luke 10:18
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We know that the devil's sin was pride that caused him to fall for all time.  Let us examine this.  Lucifer is an Angelic intelligence.  Before the fall he was constantly before the face of God, so he knew God, and he knew all God's attributes.  Lucifer knew that God's justice was perfect, if God said it was so, it was right and just. Lucifer new that the will of God was perfect, that if God willed something it was perfect and right.  Lucifer knew God and he knew the love of God.  Yes, God loved Lucifer, His light bearer.
The angels have free will just like we do, the danger came when in being God's light bearer, that Lucifer saw himself as having the attributes of God.  He thought because he bore the light, he was the light.  Lucifer also thought God could not do without him.  Lucifer was the light bearer, only he could do this job for God, no one else could!  Therefore if only I can do this, then MY will is what is primary, not God's. (Mistake #1: Thinking that we can do or give anything to God or add to his measure or that God would lack something without us, He would not.)
So if I am the only one that can do this task for God then, I must be like God too!  He needs me!  Since I know God and I know God's love, then because He loves me and only I can do this job for Him,  THEN NO MATTER WHAT I DO, HE WON'T PUNISH ME.  (Mistake #2: Assumption of a permanent state of Salvation.)  If we know Christ, we know that we fail Him and seek reconciliation daily, sometimes even hourly if needed.   It is very true that we must truly work out our salvation in fear and trembling!
The evil one's job is the same as it was in the Garden of Eden.
1.  Tell us that God is a liar, that what God's word says doesn't apply to you. (You won't be punished! You won't go to Hell! God loves you!)
2. That sin is actually good, and by your sin you will attain something.  By your sin you exercise your will as superior to God's will.
Example:  You live in common law, commit abortion, or use birth control and you say to yourself, "God understands."  You are basically saying that your will is above God's, and that God should be subject to your wants and desires.  I tell you the truth, those that do not repent and humble themselves before God will have the devil for permanent company.
The Annunciation is one of Lucifer's Greatest Torments
Then came the war in heaven and Satan's ultimate fall.  Oh and how great the fall considering what he knew of God!  As Lucifer knew the infinite God, Lucifer's fall is infinite as well, and is irrevocable.  I have wondered what the light bearer's job would have been in God's kingdom, I wonder if one of Lucifer's worst torments is that looking upon Gabriel giving the greatest message ever given to a human being, he says to himself, "That could have been me."
Pray the Angelus Daily.
The Angelus
The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary:
And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of
our death. Amen.
Behold the handmaid of the Lord: Be it done unto me according to Thy word.
Hail Mary . . .
And the Word was made Flesh: And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary . . .
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray:
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord.
Amen.
